This cru wine from Montpeyroux in the Couteaux du Languedoc has deep roasted fruit aromas and flavors accented with spice and 'garrigue.' Rich raspberry and smoky plum followed by a bite of anise.
Montpeyroux's vineyards are the motst Northerly situated before the Massif Central Mountains. The soil is composed of a mixture of clay and limestone. Grape varieties used are 40% Grenache, 30% Carignan, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedure.
