LA FERME DU MONT 2007 PREMIERE COTE COTES DU RHONE

From the near perfect 2007 vintage in the Southern Rhone. Deep cherry and chocolate are spiced with earth and dusty tannins. Fresh and approachable but well-built with time to evolve. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre. Great with poultry dishes like roast chicken or duck. Produced by winemaker Stephane Vedeau whose recent efforts are receiving rave reviews by Parker, Spectator and Jancis Robinson.

PROMENADE DES PAPES 2007 PLAN DE DIEU CDR VILLAGES

Another stunning wine from the Southern Rhone's 2007 crop. Plan de Dieu is the latest village to be given its own appellation name under the Cotes du Rhone Villages label. This is full-bodied and concentrated, with deep black currants and amazing depth. Long lasting finish remembers the fruit with pepper and spice lingering on. Hearty and perfect for cold weather dishes like beef stew, roasted lamb and cassoulet. Grenache and Syrah.

VMV ELITE 2006 COTES DU VENTOUX

Only the best barrels make their way into this full-bodied blend of Grenache and Syrah from the Vignerons of Mount Ventoux. Deep cherry and raspberry with a hint of cassis form the basic structure. Nice wood notes with a touch of anise on the back end, frames the soft and luscious fruit, providing complexity and a lasting finish. A great wine to pair with herb-roasted chicken, lamb chops or veal.

LA FERME DU MONT 2006 COTES JUGUNDA GIGONDAS

Winemaker Stephane Vedeau takes a modern approach but keeps the authentic flavors of this Southern Rhone village's terroir in the bottle. Luscious, forward cherry and raspberry fruit jump from the glass on the nose and palate and are framed by ample doses of spicy garrigue and anise notes on the finish. Full-bodied and full of flavor. A perfect match for beef and lamb.

DUNAH 2006 SANGIACOMO PINOT NOIR

Dark and full-bodied, black fruits and dark chocolate escape the glass. Flavors of sweet cherry and raspberry are intense and rounded off by its chocolatey edges. Spices and herbal earthiness mingle on the finish, giving complexity. Pair with beef and pork dishes.

HALLECK VINEYARDS 2007 THREE SONS PINOT NOIR

Garnet color. Petrol and earthy spices frame a full and concentrated stewed fruit core on the nose. Body is silky and laced with woody tannins, smoked up in the middle on cherry, raspberry and cassis notes. Melts off nicely with a stripe of spiced fruit down the middle. Pair with beef or lamb.
