CALIFORNIA
CHATEAU FELICE ACIER CHARDONNAY

Reminiscent of Chablis, this Estate grown wine truely expresses what Chardonnay has to offer. Acier (pronounced ahh-see'AY) is whole-cluster pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks with no malolactic. No oak, no toast, no butter... just Chardonnay. With a screw cap to keep it as fesh as possible, aromas of honeysuckle, passion fruit and grapefruit tickle the senses. Framed by classic mineral and almond notes with a lengthy fresh acidic finish this wine begs to be paired with seafood or a creamy Tommie Savoy.

DUNAH TRE CUVEE RED

From Sebastopol in Sonoma California, made by wine maker Greg La Follette (former Flowers winemaker), this is a delightful 3 vineyard blend of predominantly Syrah and Sangiovese, with small amounts of old-vine, dry-farmed Carignan and Gewurztraminer. As proprietor's Rick and Diane DuNah like to say the Gewurzt is for civility. 2 1/2 years in the barrel! The predominant Syrah provides the backbone and roast meat quality to this wine. The Sangiovese provides the fruit, the Carignan the cocoa and spice, and the Gewurztraminer comes through with a hint and smoothes out the taste. This is a blockbuster if ever there was one.

CHRISTOPHER CREEK DRY CREEK ZINFANDEL

7th Vintage, from vineyards in Dry Creek, California. Produced by fermenting the grapes in small open top tanks with 2 punch downs daily to every "pump over". Aged in a mixture of French and American oak, this wine exhibits a medium-dark ruby hue, with foreword strawberry and raspberry jammy fruit, white pepper and a mouth feel that lingers. While still quite young, this intense, perfectly balanced and bright wine is remarkably approachable with medium tannins and aging potential of about 3-4 years. Finishes soft and gracefully. Delicious.
